NCAM is proud to have successfully concluded the Two-week Advanced Training Workshop on Additive Manufacturing for Indian Army Officials, conducted through MeitY by the National Centre for Additive Manufacturing from 19th of January to 2nd of February 2026.
The two-week immersive program was attended by 35 Army officials and delivered in collaboration with leading industry partners EOS, amace solutions, Phillips Machine Tools, Imaginarium, and SOLIZE PARTNERS India Pvt.Ltd.EDS Technologies. The workshop covered a comprehensive spectrum of polymer and metal additive manufacturing technologies, including SLS, LPBF, DMLM, and CFF, along with DFAM, Simulation, Post-processing, Quality inspection, 3D scanning, and Reverse engineering.
The program combined expert-led lectures, hands-on sessions, live machine demonstrations, and application-driven discussions, enabling participants to explore how additive manufacturing can support defense preparedness, rapid prototyping, and indigenous technology development.
