The National Centre for Additive Manufacturing (NCAM) is a company registered under Section 8(1) ofthe Companies Act2013. The NCAM is established by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), Govt. of India and ITE&C Department, Govt. of Telangana in partnership with Industry. It is conceptualised with a vision to create and enable a sustainable ecosystem for product innovation in India with emphasison research, design, development, and testing through collaborative efforts between academia, industry and government using the disruptive technology of Additive Manufacturing.

The NCAM is nurturing the growth and development of the Additive Manufacturing ecosystem in the country and it is a physical centre located in Hyderabad equipped with stateo fart AM infrastructure, office and incubation space, etc.

Qualification B.Tech / B.E. or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, Production, or related field
Experience Minimum 7–8 years of experience in Additive Manufacturing production environment
Job Summary Responsible for additive manufacturing activities including machine operation, design preparation, reverse engineering, build preparation, post-processing coordination, quality checks, and documentation. Experience in DMLS, SLS, SLM, FDM required.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Operate LPBF-DMLS, SLS, SLM, FDM and CMM machines
  2. Prepare build files, setup, planning, execution
  3. Support reverse engineering (3D scanning, CAD)
  4. Design modification & DfAM support
  5. Coordinate post-processing & inspection
  6. Maintain production & machine records
  7. Ensure safe handling of materials & powders
  8. Perform quality inspection & verification
  9. Coordinate with teams, vendors, customers
  10. Prepare reports, quotations, documentation
Required Skills
  1. Hands-on AM technologies (DMLS, SLS, SLM, FDM)
  2. End-to-end AM workflow knowledge
  3. CAD, STL & build preparation tools
  4. MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  5. Communication & coordination skills
  6. Production planning & troubleshooting
  7. AM safety & powder handling knowledge
Preferred Profile Candidates with 7–8 years of hands-on experience in AM operations, CNC/production, reverse engineering, and post-processing environments.
